Thyme is one of the most widely used culinary herbs. It is commonly grown as a decorative and functional plant in many home gardens, a popular ground cover and bees use its pollen. It is easy to grow and adaptable to most soils and climatic conditions. Can be started early indoors and will grow 2-3 inches. It is a perennial and will bloom summer into fall. Will also grow well in a container. Make sure seeds are watered and as soon as they are established do not water them. Some thyme thrive on neglect. Preferring dry soil and no fertilization.
