Lime Basil has traditionally been used as a natural topical treatment to nourish and repair irritated skin, and with its concentration of antioxidants, it has even been used as an under-eye treatment for inflammation. Add a citrus flare to fish, salad, and sauces with this rare lime flavored basil. Makes a good container plant and can be brought indoors over winter. ****Pinch off the white flowers b/c once the plant goes to see, it will die! Lime basil herb requires well-drained soil. Lime basil seeds can be started indoors in late winter, about six to eight weeks ahead of the last frost in your climate. Basil thrives in moist, well-drained soil.
