Purple Top White Globe Turnip is a big producer giving you greens and roots to use for cooking. This cool-weather garden vegetable will grow easily with regular watering and allowed full sun exposure. Not only an ideal garden vegetable, this turnip is often grown as a microgreen on a kitchen counter and can be used for garnishes, stir fry & salads (greens and roots alike.) Has a uniform smooth white globe with white skin and tastes mildy sweet. It is usually planted in the late winter to early spring for a late spring harvest. Leafy tops are loaded with B-complex vitamins, carotenoids, and vitamin K. Plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest.
