52 days. Super tender beet with a buttery texture, mild flavor. The Ruby Queen beet is a variety that does very well in poor soils. It produces uniform, round globes and short tops. The leaves grow to be green with maroon edges. These beets are hardy and can be grown in a number of zones and climates, and can thrive in full shade. Smooth round roots with short tops. Great for canning. Ringless roots can and pickle well. Retains color during processing.
