50-55 days. Top Pick Cream Pea Cowpea features an upright bush plant with prolific set of pods on the top where they are easy to see and harvest. The plants will have 2-3 heavy flushes of pod sets. Pick when light purple for shelling. The seeds keep their color when cooked and have a creamy but not mushy texture. Matures earlier than most other cream peas. Easy shelling. Good drought tolerance.
