Legendary variety, one of the world’s hottest peppers, with readings in excess of 1,000,000 Scoville units! Bhut Jolokia starts out slow but eventually makes tall plants, exceeding 4 feet in favored locations. The thin-walled, wrinkled, pointed fruit reaches 2-3 inches in length, ripening mostly to red. Ghost peppers require a long growing season, so it's best to start seeds indoors at least 8-10 weeks before the average last frost date in your area. They thrive in a warm, humid environment.
