Regular-(approx. 40 seeds)
The heirloom Serrano Pepper is another of the classic hot peppers, and one of the most commonly used for cooking. The Serrano provides a medium-hot taste, and is typically not over-powering to most palates. The pods grow to 3-4 inches long and can be eaten in either their green or red form. They are commonly used in making pico de gallo and salsa, as the chili is particularly fleshy compared to others, making it ideal for such dishes. Medium Hot - 10,000 - 25,000 Scoville Units
