*The relatively small melons typically weigh 3-5 pounds, growing off plants that can stretch to a width of 5 feet. The fruit itself is noted for its succulence and sweetness.
* Sow seeds inside in mid to late April or direct seed when soil has warmed up to (75-85˚F).  If direct seeding, plant seeds 1-2 weeks following your last frost date. 
*Plant 3 seeds per hill at a depth of (½”) deep and (18”) apart.
*Spacing after Thinning: (18") between plants in rows that are (4-6’) apart.
*Soil Conditions:  Well worked rich, loose well-drained soil.
